M_o_R  is a globally recognised risk management framework, it is designed to help organisations establish an effective framework for risk management, enabling them to make informed decisions about the risks that affect their strategic, portfolio, programme, project, product, and operational objectives. M_o_R provides practical guidance for managing risk, focusing on creating and protecting value. M_o_R 4 is universally applicable and aligned to ISO standards and complements PRINCE2 7, PRINCE2 Agile and MSP certifications.

The M_o_R 4 Practitioner course is designed to improve learners understanding of management of risk and how to make it add value at different levels in their organisation by using the M_o_R 4 integrated framework. The M_o_R 4 integrated framework for risk management aligns with objectives to create and protect value across perspectives, principles, people, and the process cycle. This course shows how it can be used to both create and protect value within any part of an organisation.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.  

Exam & Certification

This course prepares participants for the examination leading to M_o_R 4 Practitioner certification. The exam is held online via a proctored exam platform.

• A 135-minute (2 hours, 15 minutes), 65 question, multiple-choice, objective-testing format exam is administered by an independent examination body, PeopleCert.  
• A passing mark of 50% is required to receive your certificate.
• This is an ‘open book’ examination. The Management of Risk: Creating and Protecting Value (M_o_R® 4 ) publication is permitted. No materials other than this publication and the examination materials may be used in the examination. The official manual may be annotated and tabulated but no sticky notes and loose-leaf papers containing additional notes will be allowed. 

The exam is provided as an online examination voucher, on the first day of your course you will receive an email from PeopleCert with information on how to register and schedule your exam. The examination is 135 minutes, please allow for an additional 30 minutes for set up and authentication. You will require a photo identification, quiet space, webcam, speakers and a reliable internet connection.

The exam schedule is available 24/7 so you can sit your exam at a time that suits you. Your voucher will be valid for 12 months, we do recommend you complete your examination as close to the course date as you can – this is when the information is fresh and relevant.

A Take2 exam re-sit is included if there is a 'failure' result from the first attempt. Take2 will not be available from a missed or absent exam attempt.
